About Maze

Church Small Maze is a congregation of about 200 families set in the heart of the community which it serves. It is a very homely congregation, with a friendly atmosphere, and lots of activities throughout the week catering for all ages.

While the church building we meet in has been here for 150 years the congregation itself has grown a lot in the last 10-20 years creating the need to enlarge the church and erect new halls. The Sunday morning gathering has a young feel and everyone is made very welcome and at ease so that one of our priorities of ministry is to the many young families who attend and reaching out to the community surrounding our premises.

Vision

The Kirk Session regularly review the life and witness of the congregation. We do it under six useful headings which fairly well encompass the work of any church – this is what we aim to be-

A group of God’s people who know Jesus and desire to share that knowledge through:

1	Worship	to achieve vital and meaningful worship of God.

2	Discipleship	to grow together in knowledge of God, God's way and God's will.

3	Fellowship	to provide a supportive and caring ministry to one another.

4	Evangelism	to reach out actively and seek to bring others into the community of faith.

5	Ministry	to proclaim God's love, by word and action, here and throughout the world.

6	Resources	to develop and deploy our property and other resources in line with our mission and objectives.
