We will focus first on Malawi and include some facts about this small African country. We will also give details of the PCI missionaries who serve there and the work they are involved in.
Malawi is called the “Warm Heart of Africa”.

MALAWI, ranks among the world's least developed countries. The economy is predominately agricultural, with about 90% of the population living in rural areas.
Nationwide, the affects of an HIV/AIDS epidemic, along with widespread poverty, pose huge challenges.

Volker and JinHyeog are working with TEEM (Theological Education by Extension) in Malawi, a nationwide, distance-learning theological institution. Volker is the director of TEEM which currently offers a Diploma in Theology along with lay leadership courses. JinHyeog is using her musical gifts to teach a music course at Zomba Theological College.
